This tool helps you better oversee your vessels' upcoming product demand by providing dynamic calculations of average consumption over the past 90 days. You can easily track trends and spot unexpected spikes by comparing dynamic averages with user-defined fixed averages. Our grading system and outlier detection ensure you get the most reliable insights, making it easier to optimize your procurement strategy and improve demand forecasting.

More integrations for maximum efficiency
Closelink is committed to making your procurement process as seamless as possible. That’s why we continue to integrate with industry-leading systems, allowing for smooth data flow and streamlined operations. In 2024, we partnered with NAVTOR to integrate stock reporting (ROB) data, giving you enhanced visibility into your vessel’s lubricant needs. We also worked with LR OneOcean’s Cloud Fleet Manager to automate the synchronisation of all order-related information from requisition to invoice, eliminating manual data entry and improving accuracy. We are concluding 2024 with a successful integration with StormGeo’s s-Insight, a market leader in voyage optimization and vessel management.

Delivering real cost savings
Helping our customers achieve tangible cost savings is at the core of what we do. In 2024, a prime example of our impact is our work with BW LPG, where we helped reduce lubricant costs by 8% in just the first year. This achievement highlights the power of smarter procurement strategies and a technology-driven approach. Additionally, we collaborated with BW LPG to develop LOOK (Lubricant Oil Optimisation Keys), an initiative designed to further optimize their supply chain.

Record growth
2024 has been a year of significant growth. In October alone, we achieved a remarkable $10 million in value of lubricants traded through Closelink. Over the course of the year, our total lubricant volume purchased was over 5x greater than in 2023, with a 262% growth in the number of orders processed. These numbers reflect the trust our customers place in Closelink to help them navigate the complexities of marine lubricant procurement. Keeping it simple
At Closelink, we’re always focused on creating a platform that stays easy to use while offering a growing range of features. In 2024, we made significant updates based on user feedback to further improve usability. We introduced tabs to the Vessel Details section for better accessibility of data and redesigned the Order List layout for enhanced clarity. We also revamped the Create Enquiry and Offer Overview pages as part of a platform-wide design update, improving both usability and functionality. Finally, we added the ability to download enquiries as PDFs, making it easier to share and document important information.
